You can obtain pets by buying Pet Eggs from the Pet Shop or Event Shops and hatching them.
To hatch an egg, you must place it on an empty spot in your garden and wait for the hatching period.

The Kappa in Grow a Garden is a Mythical pet that was added in the Zen Update.
You can obtain it by getting a Zen Egg from the Zen Shop for 30 Chi.
The Zen Egg takes 4 hours and 10 minutes to hatch and has a 3.5% chance of hatching the Kappa.
The Kappa’s passive applies the Wet mutation to nearby fruits.
If a fruit already has a Wet mutation, it has a chance to convert it to the Bloodlit mutation.
