The minimum age to play at Badlandz is 10 years old and they offer open paintball by skill level on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The recreational package includes all day play and equipment for $60 per person and the packages go up to the “heavy gunner” for $95. Airsoft is $25 and you need to bring your own gear and BBs.

Located in Santa’s Village Amusement Park, this paintball field is for ages 10 years old and up. Paintball Explosion offers many different outdoor courses, as well as an indoor course. If you have your own gear, admission for a full day of paintball is $25. Paintball packages with games and rental equipment range from $30-$99 per person. Low impact paintball is also available, which means you can shoot smaller paintballs at a lower velocity. Airsoft admission is $30 and rental is $40. They now offer open play, so reservations are not required.

The minimum age requirement is 10 years old for Legacy Adventure Park. Packages with an all-day field pass and equipment rental range from $65-$120 per person. Low impact paintball, airsoft, archery tag, and zombie hunt are also available. The airsoft open play rental package is $60.

If you’re looking for a unique, Halloween themed, activity you must check out Monster Purge. Guests (over the age of 6) ride around in a Monster Truck School Bus (you read that correctly) and shoot paintballs at Zombies. This event is timed, and has a general admission or VIP pricing option.

Paint Pursuit Games does not allow walk-ons or same day reservations, so you need to register your private group in advance. Four hours of game play and equipment rental is $25 per person. Paintballs are an extra fee and cost $7 per 100 rounds. The minimum group size is 12 people and minimum age to play is 10 years old.

Paintball packages with admission and equipment rental range from $50-$85 depending on how many paintballs they include. Players need to be 10 years old or above and ages 10 to 15 years old must be supervised by an adult at all times at the playing field. Airsoft is the last Sunday of every month and costs $30 with rental available, but not included.
What is the difference between paintball and airsoft?
The shell of a paintball is made out of gelatin that bursts on impact, while an airsoft gun uses biodegradable pellets that do not break on impact.
Airsoft requires the players to acknowledge that they have been hit and paintball does not, considering the players are marked by the paint when shot.
Paintballs are heavier (therefore shoot out with more energy) and have a larger surface area than airsoft BBs, so they hurt more and leave bigger welts as opposed to the smaller concentrated red marks from airsoft. However, safety gear and padding can be worn in either game.
