Coyotes are clever wild animals that live in forests and deserts. Today, we’re going to draw a super cute cartoon coyote! Get your pencil, eraser, and some crayons ready, and let’s begin
Step 1: Draw the Head
Start by drawing the outline of the coyote’s head. The head looks like it has a W on each side with two pointy ears on top. Don’t forget to make the cheeks fluffy and the chin pointy like a triangle. This gives the coyote a soft and furry look.
Step 2: Draw the Body and Front Legs
Next, draw a small furry shape under the head to start the chest. Then draw two long lines going down for the front legs. Add little oval shapes at the bottom of each leg for the feet.
Step 3: Add the Back Legs
Now, on each side of the front legs, draw two curved lines to make the back legs. They should look like sideways “U” shapes. Then, add two small ovals for the back paws. Your coyote is sitting!
Step 4: Draw the Tail
Time to give your coyote a big bushy tail! On the side of the body, draw a zigzag tail pointing to the right. Make sure it’s wide and fluffy-looking.
Step 5: Add the Face Details
Now let’s make the face super cute. Draw two small ovals for the eyes and a small triangle for the nose. Under the nose, add a small smile. Draw the inside of the ears, and add a stripe across the face for the fur pattern.
Step 6: Color Your Coyote
Finally, color in your coyote! Use brown for most of the body, light cream for the inside of the ears and chest, and black for the eyes and nose. You can get creative with the colors if you’d like!
