On Tuesday the 23rd, Visual Captive had the opportunity to partner with Compeer Financial to produce a video for their annual conference, Igniting Transformation. This year’s theme was Top Gun and the Compeer Financial team wanted a Top Gun intro video to open the conference.
For this video we had the honor of filming with Chuck Datko’s T-6 Thunder. It was a new experience for Visual Captive as this is the first time we had the chance to work with an old military fighter plane up close!
The parameters for this video were different as we had a shorter amount of time to prepare for this project. Our pre-production phase was only a few days and we knew we weren’t going to have enough time for complex lighting setups. So, we decided to shoot with natural light and utilized a polarizing filter out on the tarmac. This worked out in our favor as the natural light gave the hangar a dramatic, documentary look and feel.
